Kimberly S. Keith focuses her practice in the
areas of commercial real estate finance, development and
entity formation. Before joining the firm in
2002, Ms. Keith represented clients in the areas of real
estate, commercial law and secured transactions with
Epstein, Becker & Green in Washington, DC.
In
2005, Ms. Keith became a partner in the firm.
Ms. Keith negotiates and oversees many of the firm’s
largest real estate finance transactions, including the
formation and negotiation of complex business agreements
between shareholders, partners, equity partners and
members of developer entities.
Ms.
Keith represents real estate developers who are industry
leaders, as well as general business clients. Ms.
Keith’s representation of clients typically commences at
the onset of a transaction so that she can provide
advice on entity formation issues, negotiation of
financing term sheets and commitments to limit personal
guarantee exposure, to provide flexibility and to
address general financing terms. Throughout a real
estate transaction, Ms. Keith advises clients on lending
and entity requirements and compliance, and negotiates
loan transaction documents to help protect borrowers and
their principals.
